Sending LFX Meeting Invites

While the Zoom join URLs are personalized per registrant/user, am I correct in that the “Join via audio” is the same for all?

While registration is certainly preferred, if audio is indeed the same for all, this could make for a good back-up option for a frustrated committee member who is having trouble remembering their LFID log-in information at the start time of a meeting. So I actually like this as a true back-up option.

Have I unlocked a cheat code? (L, L , R, R, Up, Down, B, A)

That is correct - I don’t see a meeting passcode required for dialing in and comparing two different invites the dialin instructions are identical.

That is a good backup option - thanks for sharing @Brett_Preston !

Great point @Brett_Preston thanks for sharing! Let us know how this works in your communities

Below is the verbiage I’ve used for one of my upcoming meetings. Open to suggestions for updated vernacular (e.g. if I shouldn’t be referring to “LFID”) –

That’s awesome @Brett_Preston - good verbiage to have shared from any public meeting.

@Henry_Quaye it would be great for LFX to generate that automatically.

This is great! Thank you for the template @Brett_Preston!

@PMO check out the join meetings template @Brett_Preston put together, I think joining via audio is a great option for users who may push back on joining meetings using an LFID.

@John_Mertic This could be a good idea. It may be good to see this messaging during the registration email sent out to invited participants? But do you have any other thoughts?

I’m thinking about users that may want to join a projects’s public meeting via link and have not received any email yet. As a project administrator where would community members not sent an invite find a meetings public join link? It may be a good idea to include this messaging there as well.

I think you are meaning that there would be a way to determine if the meeting invite has been sent, and also a way an administrator could get a user’s unique Zoom URL so they could send it to them via another method ( like Slack or text ) in the event that a user needs to join quickly. Is that accurate or am I misunderstanding your comment?
