Does joining a public committee meeting automatically add one to a committee?

Basically the title says it all - if one joins a public committee meeting with their LFX credentials, does that automatically add them to the committee and mailing list?

No, we differentiate between committee members and non-committee members on mailing lists and meetings. Adding a user to a committee will add them to associated mailing lists or meetings, but adding them to a meeting or mailing list will not add them to the associated committee.
